Moreno's Restaurant Equipment

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY ON ANY USED EQUIPMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Purchased 2 refridgerators, 2 warming cabinets, and a gas range. NOT ONE PIECE OF EQUIPMENT WAS WORKING PROPERLY UPON RECEIPT! The stove had one orifice clogged, all the pilots were out of adjustment. One refridgerator had less than a pound of freon, supposed to have 10x that amount. The other fridge didn't cool under 50 degrees. One warming cabinet had a fan bearing out, and sounded like a jet plane taking off. The other cabinet's heating element didn't work. Paid them over $14K for a package deal, and THEY didn't inspect and properly set up any of the equipment. Cost us 4 days getting opened. They reimbursed us $150 for the gas appliance company we had to call out for the stove. Moreno won't return calls on the Fridge. Worst business dealings yet, in over 15 years of dealing with vendors. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU!

Moreno's restaurant equipment in Port St Lucie is hands down the most unprofessional company I've ever had to work with. Be weary of Nicole and the sales team as they will try to sell you anything even if you don't need it. Be careful of the fine print, stipulate everything, I ended up paying over US$5,000 to improperly install a hood and fire suppresion system that they; 1. Did not connect the bell fan THEY installed as part of the hood to the existing breaker box 2. Pinched the existing wiring when applying the through bolts on the hood creating a short circuit. Mind you they didn't test the job when finished, I had to find this out the hard way. 3. They scratched the stainless steel while removing the protecting paper. All throughout. 4. They didn't make the pipes long enough on the fire suppresion system, only getting 5 feet of the 9 foot hood. All this issues had to be corrected costing me time, time that's worth gold when starting a business and more money, that is scarce in any startup. The customer service aspect in this situation was terrible and useless, it actually prompted me to write this review as the turnaround to get this fixed was also a hassle. If you end up using this company be meticulous, vigilant and make sure you talk every single detail through so you don't end up losing time and money like me.
