We are very disappointed in Iowa Appliance Center. We had a LG Front load washing machine that we got from them 3 years ago. I noticed a noise that was louder than usual last year and had the repairman come out. He listened to it and knew it was louder but did nothing about it. Almost 4 weeks ago I called them again to have someone come because the noise had become nearly unbearable and it was leaking. The young man came out, checked our machine and sure enough the bearing had gone bad on our 3 year old LG washer. We had purchased a 5 year extended warranty which was expensive and nothing has been resolved. We had to go to the laundromat because they still have done nothing to make things right with us. The warranty company is taking their time about making things right with us. Please be mindful that if you purchase an appliance with this store they do not warrant anything themselves. You will be left without an appliance for a very long time. Two weeks ago they came out and took video for the warranty company of the noise and leaking the machine caused. We haven’t heard anything from the appliance store people unless we call. I could no longer wait to get a new washing machine. Our laundry room is on the second story of our home and I wasn’t about to have my husband lug all the laundry baskets of clothes, bedding and towels down the stairs and into the car, not to mention having to lug everything into the laundromat. This store should have went out of their way to make things right with us. They have not and we are still waiting to hear from them. We will never ever purchase anything from them again. They have lost our business!

I ordered and paid for my new refrigerator over 6 weeks ago and was told when I ordered it that we would have it by the week of April 27th. I called and was told that it was on the truck to be delivered to the store. I never heard anything so I called back a week later and noone knew where my frig was. I was told they contacted the manufacturer to get another one shipped(i honestly think they sold it from the store) Long story short my old frig has now completely died and i still do not have my new frig but it is at the store. All my food has spoiled, the girl that answers the phone at Iowa appliance was rude and not helpful at all! I was very disappointed that they could not slide my delivery in for an emergency delivery! Especially with the amount of time that I waited. 2 stars is a high rating but I will give the benefit of a doubt. There was also no compensation for the long wait and when I mentioned to the girl answering the phone that my food had spoiled she laughed. I give her 0 stars!! Hopefully their appliance service plan is better than my ordering experience. My refrigerator finally arrived the delivery went well with the exception of a huge gouge in my hardwood floor in front of the refrigerator! I have called to see if they will do anything about my floor damage. Waiting for a call back....

Bought a new side by side fridge, my husband said let’s not , the ice and water parts don’t last, but he let me get it. Didn’t get warranty cuz a new fridge should last awhile.. nope, 5/6 months later the ice/ water part stopped working. Had to pay/replace a part, didn’t work Good customer service would come over and fix it free. Should have listened to to my husband . Disappointing

I was in the market for a new dishwasher and was waiting for Labor Day sales at all the big box locations to buy. I was not super happy with the delivery/warranty costs and so started googling other places that might sell my preferred model (Bosch 800). I am very happy I stumbled across Iowa Appliance Center. Their installation, haul away, and warranty prices beat Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Best Buy. The model I wanted was out of stock but they offered a slightly better model at the same price so I wouldn’t have to wait forever for the install. I ordered on Monday evening and the dishwasher was installed and ready to go by Thursday afternoon. I am very pleased with both the price and service and will look to them first when it’s time to replace our next appliance.

SO Disappointed.. Disappointed it took me THIS LONG to find this place! Super helpful and new machine in stock! We had to replace a Maytag after 1 service call and like 7 repairs in 2 years.. (JUNK!) Had what we needed in stock! No attitudes, like the last place we purchased all our previous appliances from, just helpful people trying to keep our families never ending laundry going! Shawn gave us the information we needed to pick the right washing machine and the delivery guys were fast, friendly and efficient. Awesome experience all around! THANK YOU!
