Went to Basco to replace a 36 inch gas stove with a dual fuel one. For those who’ve had to do this, it isn’t an easy choice given the variety of stoves and prices. We were fortunate to be assigned Chris Bahn as our sales rep. He was great at showing us the options and highlighting the pros and cons of each, including actually reaching out to the manufacturers rep on three needs we had (the first being able to light the gas burners in a power outage, the second in ensuring that a 40 amp circuit was enough for that electric oven, and the third in ensuring clearance at the back would allow us to slide in the stove over our gas and electric lines). Chris provided written quotes, did a huge amount of follow up work and went above and beyond even after the sale was made. A small problem with an igniter on one of the burners was followed up on quickly by the Basco service team who sent out a repair company promptly. In all, we had a great experience and hope to continue to buy our appliances here.

We went to BestBuy , HomeDepot, Lowe’s and BASCO. Worth the effort to educate yourself but … in the end we probably should have just gone to BASCO. Huge selection well presented in real kitchen environments and the salesman took a lot of time for us. A lot of questions. Lastly there is a price matching that we felt good with. More importantly… they had view of their stock and even had the device we wanted in stock. BestBuy took them 3 weeks to inform us they didn’t even know where our kitchen was.

I purchased all new appliances for a remodel, and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jeremy was great to work with during the sale, but more importantly, afterward. He made accommodations when the house wasn't ready in time to accept delivery, more than once. Had I been working with Home Depot or Lowe's, this would've become a nightmare. Wouldn't dream of taking my business anywhere else, highly recommend.

Lowest score possible. I don’t like to write bad reviews and I understand that people make mistakes and things go wrong -but when they do you own them and you correct them and that just hasn’t happened here. At Basco nobody appears to care. You can’t even speak to a manager because you’re told they won’t care either. Something is wrong. We have an adult care home, with six residents. Like any large family, it needs a lot of laundry done and we needed to replace our washing machine quickly. Rather than going to a big box store, we wanted to support a local business. Basco appeared to be reputable and had the product we wanted in stock so so we decided to make the purchase there and called them. We didn’t need to visit because we knew what we wanted, so I called spoke with the sales person and made the purchase on the phone with the promise that it would be delivered the next day and from that point on everything went wrong. The machine was not delivered the next day as promised — It wasn’t even on the list to go out that day so we had to go without for another three days. When it was delivered and hooked up by their team, it stopped working after the first load I called and discovered that not only did they not have anyone who could service it or come out quickly? It also couldn’t be returned even though it was brand new and didn’t work. All they could offer was that they would put in a service slip to a group of appliance repair groups and that someone would call me back “in a few days” to schedule an appointment. This meant we would be without a washer at minimum “a few days” and likely more because it would need to be scheduled. When I asked if it could just be returned and replaced with one that worked, since you can usually return a purchase that doesn’t work, but I was told no, and that the manufacturer would usually require that there be three service calls before it could be replaced. Fortunately, my husband is good at figuring things out. So he discovered that Basco had not hooked the machine up properly. Once he corrected it, the machine worked, so when the repair company called days later, I was able to tell them that they didn’t need to come. The repair company and Basco’s distributor were very sympathetic and helpful. Then to add to it, the sales person had promised that we would be reimbursed for the delivery charge because of the delayed delivery. However, when the receipt came - this credit was not provided. I wrote to ask for this correction — not a word back - still no credit. I wrote again - no word -no credit. Today I called and couldn’t speak with a person, but did leave a message and I’m hoping that I can get this resolved. Not only did I not have it delivered as promised, but when it was delivered, they didn’t even hook it up right.

So great to be able to go back into showrooms now and have competent service instead of dealing with online incompetence. Great selection of product lines. If you're thinking about redesigning your kitchen this is the place to go.
