Worked with Jeff at Actual Appliance Repair, which is scheduled by E&M (i.e., call E&M for an appliance fix and they’ll schedule Jeff from Actual Appliance Repair). I honestly cannot give Jeff enough stars. He helped me address issues with two of my refrigerators, including one that took several months to fully fix (not because of Jeff, but because it took forever and several tries for the manufacturer to send the correct replacement part). Jeff’s work not only involved diagnosing and fixing the fridge, but also working with me to order the correct part three times because of mistakes on the manufacturer’s part. Jeff was patient, communicative, flexible, and just incredible nice the entire time, and his pricing was incredibly fair and affordable. I honestly will not work with any other appliance repair person as long as Jeff is working. Scheduling with E&M was always easy as well!

I have used E and M and the repair service (Actual Appliance Repair) several times. I just want to make sure people know that Jeff Ryan is so thoughtful. Our Speed Queen was having issues— a rarity— and he came with a few ideas. He spent extra time making sure the repair worked…. And then he checked up with us a few days later to make sure everything was satisfactory.

These guys are great and have helped me get my appliances running more than once over the years. Josh showed up today and fixed my washer with no trouble. He also gave me a couple great tips and advice for the future. So relieved to repair it rather than replace. Totally trust this shop, a true gem to have in St Johns, in these days of “throw everything away.” Five Stars!

We contacted E&M Appliance because our freezer was both freezing over and leaking, and Jeff Ryan came to help. He was fantastic—communicative, professional, and friendly. He let us know when he’d arrive, wore shoe coverings inside, explained the issue clearly, gave an accurate estimate before doing the work, and showed us pictures afterward to explain what he fixed and what to watch for. Everything about the experience was excellent. We’d absolutely call E&M again and ask for Jeff.
