Looks good. Coffee tastes great. Customer Service is solid. Been using ours for years, at least once a day, and it's always worked perfectly. Only issue we've ran into was that we didn't always use filtered water so a bit of scaling built up but the Ratio team was super helpful and cleaned it and even replaced the glass tank(at no charge). They went above and beyond and stood behind their produce even though it was our fault. Highly recommend.

I liked my machine but it broke down within the first year and it was a pain to get repaired. Just replaced a glass carafe and it is not the same as the original. It is a cheap version, much lighter in weight with the Made in China sticker still on it. Same price though. Ratio has lost a customer. Really disappointed. Wow.

I am an early Ratio customer, who has had some problems with my Ratio 8. Issues come up. It's how they're handled that makes the difference. I have received excellent service over time under warrantee including Transportation to and back from repairs. I received timely information from both the company CEO and staff, and they have worked with me to solve any problem that surfaced, There is thought in the small business community suggesting that to maximize success, the key is providing high quality service to customers. Good customer service is expected and that the real key to company longevity is exceeding expectations. In general, customer service has taken a hit, especially in light of all the automation and computer based communication that's standard today. Personal communication with real people is increasingly rare. The highest accolade is one that Ratio has now achieved from me. Customer service, as I have experienced Ratio now meets my topmost category: Legendary!

I’ve owned the Ratio 8 coffee machine for two years, and while it produces great-tasting coffee and is visually stunning, my experience has been far from ideal. For a machine at this price point, I expected reliability, but that hasn’t been the case. The problems started early on with the machine overflowing during the brewing process. To manage this, I’ve had to switch to Chemex filters, as the mesh filter sold by Ratio overflows every time, regardless of grind size. This seems to be a common issue based on other reviews I’ve seen. Additionally, the machine has a tendency to randomly shut off mid-cycle every dozen or so brews. It’s frustrating and inconsistent, leaving me with half-brewed coffee and wasted time. There have also been instances where the power button simply doesn’t work at all—I’ve had to unplug and plug the machine back in to reset it. To make matters worse, I’ve already had to replace the fuse, which isn’t something I expected to deal with on a product marketed as premium. While the coffee quality is excellent, and the machine’s design is undeniably beautiful, these persistent issues make it hard to recommend. At this price point, a coffee machine should deliver both form and function without these kinds of setbacks.

We purchased this nightmare 1 year and 4 months ago. Since then, we have had problems with spillage, fixed those, then this morning I go to make coffee and it won’t work. I tried everything listed in the manual to get it to work but it’s just sitting here reminding me how ridiculous it is to spend $535 on a coffee maker when a $20 works just fine. I’ve attached the original receipt as proof to the timeframe and amount spent, not including a new thermal carafe, second “hand blown” carafe which came with a “made in China” label, and professional cleaning on my quartz counter thanks to the overflow issues of the paper filters that COME WITH THE MACHINE. Going today to Target and picking up a Mr Coffee. Those things last forever.
