Warehouse - Standard TV & Appliance

The fridge at one of my properties went belly-up and the quickest any of the major chains was going to be able to get a replacement was in ten days IF I was lucky. The same major chain (rhymes with Gnome Repo) has previously left me hanging for a month plus on one of those "we'll get it to you in ten days" orders, so like... not a reassuring option. Anyway, Standard had the fridge in stock and set me up with a delivery date in a few days, and did it all via text in under 20 minutes. Super efficient both in ordering and (I've ordered from them before, back when Gnome Repo let me down hard) also super efficient in delivery. 10/10, I need to remember to turn here first for all appliances going forward.

My parents recently purchased a refrigerator from Standard, with delivery on 11/29/24. During installation, screws were stripped for the upper right door handle and bottom freezer door handle which broke the handles. The service person called to request new handles. The ice maker does not work either. After 5 phone calls between 12/1-12/15, no one will take responsibility for the defective refrigerator, the new handles and assembly kits were never ordered, and my parent have gotten nothing but run around, fingers pointed at other people, with zero action by anyone. Today one handle arrived with dings, scratches and no assembly kit. We went to Standard and my parents were willing to pay more for a better product and better service than a big box store. We are almost a month in and have a defective refrigerator and no one at Standard seems to care. Neither I or my parents would recommend Standard to anyone I know.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! We paid $600 for a brand-new oven and got one that was broken and dented. When taken out of the box we found chipped enamel on the front and the hot burner light doesn't come off at all. Tried to call to get a replacement and getting the run around, transferring to different people on the phone and none of them willing to do anything – even though the oven was just bought and still under warranty. They also proceeded to tell me that my house is not within their delivery radius and that I have to pay to get another oven, even though it is part of their “deal” to get free delivery. After weeks of calls I was finally able to get someone to agree to swap the oven for another working one however, they did not agree to swap it themselves and had me try to bring the broken one to the warehouse. When I attempted to proceed with picking up the new one, they had cancelled the order! Absolutely ridiculous how they can’t make things right for a customer, will never buy from them again.
