Had an overall okay experience. My partner and I moved into a new home recently and inherited a unique washer/dryer setup on the 3rd floor. We spoke with the salesperson about a stacked Speed Queen and placed an order for delivery. We communicated concerns about dimensions so I went home to measure everything and the new unit would be a match with our old setup, but 100lbs heavier. When the delivery people arrived, they took a quick glance and said that the machine would not fit and would be too heavy in the space, suggesting we order a different machine. It was frustrating since we had shown pictures and described the space before the initial order so this delayed us another week. We made a new order with a one-to-one swap of the old machine. The installers did a great job handling a tight 3rd floor space and improved upon the old setup. However, after they left we found that there was damage to our banister that they didn't mention. I understand that the installation space itself was difficult to navigate, but the stairway was a clear, straight shot. Pros: Communication was prompt and reliable and the salespeople were very friendly. Cons: The delay on the machine might not have happened had there been more understanding on both sides about the installation process. Damage to the banister that hasn't been addressed.

I highly recommend Dominic’s Appliances. I initially ordered a washer and dryer from Lowe’s, but their delivery team refused to carry the units over the railing on my narrow spiral staircase. Dominic’s Appliances took my order knowing about this challenge, and their delivery and installation team handled it perfectly. They removed the old units, brought in the new washer and dryer, installed everything professionally, and made sure everything was working. On top of that, I paid about $200 less for the same appliances than I would have paid at Lowe’s. Excellent service, professional delivery team, and a much better overall experience. Highly recommended.

I purchased my dryer from Dominic’s about two years ago and have been very happy with it. When I recently had an issue, PJ helped me over the phone and was fantastic. He took the time to really listen and understand what was going on instead of immediately scheduling a repair. He offered helpful tips, and I was able to get the right repair done since the issue was not with the dryer itself. I truly appreciated his honest, thoughtful approach and excellent customer service.

I just bought a newly renovated home in Philadelphia and I was told by the Lowe's delivery people that my basement opening was not wide enough for a standard 27" wide washer/dryer. I was told Dominic's had speed queens that could be disassembled to a smaller size and reassembled to full size. They were priciey but I thought I had no choice. Purchasing the appliances was easy however the delivery was a nightmare. The delivery people were awful. They called me two minutes before they arrived (I had to jump out of the shower). They then told me they were certain they could fit the washer and dryer downstairs without disassembling them, which I told them I was told they wouldn't fit by the delivery people at Lowe's. They said I was lied to. Now they did fit them down without disassembling them, however they but scratches and dents in my wall. I called the store and he said he would take care of it...he then called the delivery guys who started bitching and who then sent him pictures. He tried to tell me it was already like that. Instead of just sending someone out to fix it or giving me a slight refund for damages, he decided to gaslight me and tell me it was like that and was just "painted over". I just moved in and have walked through this house a million times, I would have noticed that. It was completely unprofessional and poor service. I deeply regret spending as much money as I did at this store. If you can go somewhere else, DO IT. Update to reply to the owner: I was not asked, I was told it would fit down there and I said ok. Then instead of offering to fix it right away you first tried to tell me that it was like that when there was literally wall dust on the floor from pure laziness and neglect to do a simple job. The people at Lowe's were the ones who sent me to you along with a lot of your other customers, and you better believe I called them and told them the story and NOT to send anyone your way anymore. Both you and your delivery people handled the whole thing poorly, and based on other reviews, this is a common occurrence for you. I hope people read this and stay away, you'll be happier somewhere else. ✌🏻
