Gerhard's Appliance Warehouse

We will not be using Gerhard’s again. Ordered a freezer that was “in-stock” and was told it would be two weeks. We had several hundred pounds of frozen meat arriving in two days, so we exchanged it for another freezer and were told it would be ready for pickup at Springhouse at 9am in two days. Called the morning of pick up and was told they sent it to KOP (this was never discussed, no idea why that happened). Wasn’t able to pick it up until 12:30pm since it was in the truck, then when we got there, it was stored in the wrong direction (chest freezer stored on its side) and were told we should wait a day to turn it on or risk damaging the unit… Absolutely horrible experience. They lost a loyal customer.

Buyer beware! I appreciated the staff and ease. But unfortunately we got a lemon dishwasher. It was a scratch and dent miele dishwasher. I was able to fix the broken corner piece, but there was no way of knowing that the machine was dropped so badly that the drain motor came completely dislodged inside the pan and also cut the wire from the wire panel (using poor terminology). After spending 6 hours troubleshooting with technical support I had to give up for fear of future leaks. I wished I installed this when we bought it over a year ago. But we purchased for our future kitchen that took longer to get up and running. We had not reached back out to gerhards, because we know it's out of the warranty period with the warehouse. This is a caution to anyone buying. It was missing essential pieces that should have been attached for the custom door panel. We've bought all our appliances with gerhards over the past decade and still will. But this experience with the warehouse makes me want to warn anyone else who decides to purchase. Our stove top worked well, but this just really left a sour taste for me. I won't try to save on the future. Id give a 1 star review, but because the half the items I bought worked I gave an extra star. Happy holidays everyone!

I love this place! I got my refrigerator and dishwasher from Monica. Came back and purchased a dryer from Michael. All the salespeople are friendly, helpful, and really go above and beyond. Purchase new or ask about their scratch and dent inventory, warehouse on site. From my research, competitive prices, best warranties, lowest cost delivery and removal in the area.
