Ocean State Appliance

I really want to support local businesses. I found Ocean State Appliance online and wanted to check them out. It turned out that their prices are comparable with the big national stores. But even more important to me is their knowledge, help and patience on finding the right gas stove for me and their non-pressure approach. It took a bit longer than anticipated to get it delivered (not their fault), but they kept me informed. Once they got it, it was delivered and installed the next day. I absolutely recommend Ocean State Appliance!

Shane and his team provided flawless service. Being a business owner myself, I really appreciate being appreciated as a customer. I happened to walk in and make a purchase on their anniversary and the store was littered with 5 star reviews used as decorations—reviews that had been left for them online since they had opened. After having dealt with store myself, I can see why they had so many. As a testament to their honest nature, I had mistakenly left my change on the counter after I had left (only about $1.75) and Shane made it a point to call me and let me know. This store is an asset to Johnston. I’ll be back. Thanks fellas!

Shane and his team are the most competent and trustworthy appliance people that we've encountered in the area. We've dealt with several through various issues. These guys are knowledgeable, honest, efficient, and professional. We have purchased 2 appliances from them in the past year and worked with them on issues with 2 other appliances purchased elsewhere. We are very happy with our experiences. We will continue to buy our appliances from Ocean State Appliance and will contact them for any needed repairs.

We checked out Ocean State Appliance after going to other dealers in our area. We found Shane to be very personable and easy to work with. I never felt pressured to buy. Our new range had to be ordered and when it came in, the installation was made the very next day. Shane called us the next morning after the installation to make sure everything was all set. The range is beautiful, complete with the different colored knobs and handle I wanted. Don't worry about going to a small dealer. This small business made our purchase a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
