Peak Refrigeration

Terrific company and awesome tech. Our large commercial ice machine had stopped working over New Years and we needed it repaired asap. Hauling ice from the store is no way to run a bar. Called a few repair companies and they hadn't even heard of our high-end ice machine but their "tech could look it up". No thank you. Called Peak, they knew the brand and it's listed as one they service. They called back and talked to us about specifics, what was the machine doing and not doing etc. We sent photos as well as model, make etc. They ordered the parts over the phone, and did not waste time on a service call for a tech to come out and evaluate. The technician called the next day on his way to our bar immediately after picking up the parts at the airport. Such service! It wasn't a cheap fix, but worth every penny, for the knowledge they shared and incredibly fast service.

Peak is fantastic. I have cooler/freezer/HVAC compressors in a parking garage basement. On an 80 degree day, the area around the compressors gets above 100F, even with a large air circulation fan running on the area. I called Peak because my walk-in freezer stopped working. Jordan had it back up and running in under an hour. Jordan suggested adding garden misters to cool the air around the equipment and prevent the extreme dust accumulation which was causing problems. I would have never thought of using misters without Jordan's suggestion. The air around the machines went from about 100F to about 80F within 5 minutes, and now regularly stays under 80F. The misters do not use much water and are on a thermostat timer so they only turn on when the temp goes above 80F. The entire setup cost me less than $50 and I installed it myself in under 5 minutes. I have a lot of equipment, some of which is older. Whether its a walk-in cooler, freezer, open air cooler, or HVAC system, Peak finds the problem fast for a good price. I found Peak years ago after having been repeatedly taken advantage of by every 'out-of-the-van' cooler tech in Denver. I use Peak exclusively now and Jordan's mister suggestion really demonstrates the 'out-of-the-box' thinking that will no doubt extend the life of my equipment and save me tens of thousands of dollars in the years to come.

Peak did a great job repairing our office ice machine. The technician was very friendly, communicated about when he would arrive on the day of our service appointment, and completed the work quickly and without making a mess. The office staff were very helpful in scheduling our appointment. Overall, I would recommend Peak Refrigeration for their efficiency and professionalism.
