Tru Kitchens

I could not have asked for a better experience start to finish. I met with 2 other places before tru and both were not giving me the design I wanted which was so important to me, in the budget we needed to stay in. Jeni did that! She gave me the design I wanted in my budget! from start to finish the process was seamless. No surprises, if an issue did arise it was handled swiftly. Andrew was a great project manager. I had a schedule and all trades were wonderful and no delays. The schedule was followed exactly.

This summer I had the good fortune of hiring Tru Kitchens to renovate our kitchen, family room and First floor bathroom. This company came highly recommended by several neighbors that said their experience with Tru Kitchens had been extraordinary because they coordinate the process from day one. No hunting for contractors to finish work, no waiting endlessly for products to arrive, no surprise expenses we had not agreed on and no long delays. They were exactly within the estimated time predicted for finishing. It was clear from our first group meeting that all involved in this project would be trustworthy, honest and skilled at their craft. It was immediately evident that they enjoyed working together, sharing ideas and helping customers. They were always punctual, curteous, focused and equally dedicated to the philosophy of excellence held by the company. They had 20 years of experience guide their decisions, and it showed. The project coordinator, Andrew Griffioen, was incredible at communicating with staff and client. I couldn’t believe how seamlessly he executed this big project all within the timeframe promised. He was always available to answer questions and never made us uncomfortable asking. He always followed through with promises and remained pleasant and approachable throughout the two months of our renovations. He was respected and well liked by all the contractors he assigned to our project. Jessica Fitnich was also well like and respected by everyone she hired. Clearly they had good working relationships with her. She is an exceptional designer who helped me identify what I had dreamed of doing for so many years. She afford alternatives when needed and kept me on budget. She took me to showrooms and helped me make decisions every step of the way. Her experience and knowledge of what the latest trends are also helped me find some bells and whistles I had no concept of before this project.Toe lights, self closing drawers and cabinet doors, pop up power outlets, vinyl flooring that is a breeze to clean, a single basin sink with metal grate on the bottom, built in rubber grate and cutting board was a game changer! I am amazed at the ease of use of my entire kitchen. This project has been finished for weeks now and each time we walk in it feels like a new house. We are so grateful to Tru Kitchens for their excellent work!

We moved into a new house that had a kitchen that hadn't seen an update in over 20 years. That wouldn't have been much of a problem, but some of the appliances were at levels that were too low for us, the countertops were old and cracking, and the oven wouldn't fit our pots and pans, because it wasn't a conventional sized oven, and even the manufacturer doesn't make that size anymore. We were referred to TruKitchens, and worked with Jessica on a new design with much more storage, in addition to a normal sized oven. She was great to work with, brought ideas and when we wanted to change some things, she made it happen. It can be hard for us to make a decision, but she made it real easy. Plus, they bring in all of the trades for a walkthrough of the workspace, so each person can get measurements, ask questions, and everything is organized and itemized. Andrew was our project manager, and he and the team were all professional, and made sure that all of the parts of the project were done on schedule. We were given a calendar so we knew who to expect and when to expect them. Working with them took all of the load off of us getting everything scheduled for who-knows-when, including inspections. Everything went great, without any issues, and now we have a beautiful new kitchen. If we do another remodeling project, we'll have them at the top of our list to call first. And we still use some of their contractors for other odd jobs. Highly recommended!

From the moment we engaged with TruKitchens I knew we had made the right choice. Jessica, our designer, was very thorough and helpful as we made our decisions on all aspects of the remodel. She went shopping with us and helped us pick out everything we needed. The job was started and finished exactly on time without exception. All questions we had during the process were answered promptly and we never had to wait or chase anyone down to communicate. Andrew was our Project Manager Extraordinaire! He kept everything on track and moving to make sure we could move in by the date we had agreed on. The finished product is a work of art and we are so impressed by the fit and finish of all the work that was done. This was a big job, remodeling most of our first floor, all revolving around a beautiful new kitchen that is beyond our expectations!
